Prof. Catherine Stanton (Teagasc; Food-PI; female; FWCI – 2.77) is senior principal research officer at Teagasc and research professor at University College Cork (partner in VistaMilk). She is also a PI in the APC Microbiome Research Ireland Centre. Her research programme addresses food and health, including developing innovative dairy foods and probiotics that influence human health and gut microbiota. She has been involved in numerous national and international grants. Catherine has published over 400 research papers and has >53,000 citations.
